Smart Meter Data Analysis uses your detailed electricity use, powered by your smart meter, to determine if electric vehicle charging activity has occurred during managed charging to meet program requirements.

To be eligible for this rebate, you must:

1. Be a UI residential customer who is unable to connect using either a Level 2 Smart Charger or Vehicle Connection,
2. Agree to receive program notification via email and must avoid or otherwise stop charging their EV in accordance with the requirements of the Managed Charging Program, and
3. Participants enrolling in the Program using this method agree to allow UI to monitor their energy usage to verify that the user responded to notifications for charging curtailment during specific times. If a participant does not charge their EV during these times, they will be considered as fully participating. If, however, they continue charging or restart charging during the times that UI requested curtailment, they will be considered to have not fully participated.
